The Best "Secret" Spin Class in Minot

Beginner's Spin Class at Spectrum Fitness is a Great Place to Start Your Spinning Fitness Journey

By Jess Vasas, Macaroni Kid Minot Publisher May 16, 2021

Summer is almost here! No more icy roads or snow to deal with (🤞), schools will be out soon, and hopefully, that also means fewer obligations on your schedule. Yay!

It also means fewer excuses not to be active, so maybe it's time to start thinking about "restarting" your new year resolution about being healthier in 2021 after putting some "Pandemic Pounds."

If you are like me, jumping into a full-fledge spin class is something I wouldn't even do on a dare!

However, Spectrum Fitness has a Beginner's Spin Class for $5 on Tuesday nights at 5:15 PM. It's a twenty-minute class, making it an excellent starting point if you are beginning your fitness journey. If you are looking to get moving after work or even warm-up before their following class, it's a fantastic option for that too!

Maybe you are already a seasoned fitness "junkie" but haven't tried a spin class yet. Beginner's Spin is still a perfect place for you to try out a spin class. The instructors go over the different positions used in the other classes, check to make sure you are correctly seated on the bike, and ensure that you are using the proper form throughout the class.

As of right now, the class size is pretty small. If you are worried about trying a group fitness class because of a large crowd (like me), Beginner's Spin is an excellent judgment-free class to get comfortable with the "workout class" setting before moving up to the more intense, larger attendance classes.
