Summer Bucket List Calendar

Log Your Adventures On Our Fun Printable

By Jess Vasas, Macaroni Kid Minot Publisher May 31, 2021

June is here! The temperatures are warming up, the leaves are green, the breeze is warm! Oh, how I love summer! I'm basically Olaf.
I am so excited about our second summer here in North Dakota! We arrived just before the world turned upside down because of a global pandemic.
We got a tiny, tiny slice of what summer could offer us before we quickly moved into the fall/winter season of 2019.
I knew that the summer of 2020 was not the typical summer with canceled events and very few activities available. However, it's looking like 2021 has our new normal with great activities and proper precautions in place so we can all experience the fun!

The
event calendar is FULL of events this year!

I mean...it's almost hard to keep track of them all! I am trying my best to make sure that I have all the family-friendly events I can find available to our awesome families all in one place,
but sometimes I miss things.
If you happen to see something that should be on the calendar - let me know by submitting an event. I always appreciate getting messages from people in the community who are sharing events with me. Even if I have already seen it - I'd rather see it twice than not see it at all.

Okay, while we are talking about calendars (it's one of my favorite subjects - I live for planners), I have a Summer Bucket List printable for our wonderful families! There are so many more things you can add to this list - and I hope you do! Kids love to track adventures, and you can personalize the way you track your adventures any way you want.
There are
two versions of this calendar. One with North Dakota-themed activities and the other with more generic summer-themed ideas and plenty of blank space for you to add your own bucket list ideas.

Here are some of my activity tracking ideas:
1. Get a big pack of Crayola Bright Super Tip Markers and color code each activity you plan to do.
Then color in the calendar day you do that activity.

2. Place a number next to each activity.
Write the number into the day that you do that activity.

3. Print this calendar at your local library and ask for a poster-sized print.
Write the activity on the calendar. It should be big enough.

I tried to include many free and several low-cost activities so families on any budget could participate in the Macaroni KID Minot Summer Bucket List Calendar!
As you mark your calendars - please share them with us using the hashtag #MacKIDMinotSummer. I can't wait to see the creative ways you use this Summer Bucket List Calendar!

I hope you have a wonderful summer making memories, and I hope that Macaroni Kid Minot helps you find your family fun!
