2. Splash at the Oak Park Splash Pad or Radio City Splash Pad!
We have two excellent splash pads in the Magic City! Both are free and open to the public. If you feel like splashing in a pool instead, check out Roosevelt Parks family days for cheaper admission for your crew.
3. Celebrate The 4th of July at Oak Park with the Minot Parks Dept.!
Monday, July 4th from 12:00pm - 3:00pm

4. Go to the Minot library!
There are so many great events happening with our local library this summer! From babies to adults, you'll want to check out their offerings and add them to your calendar.
5. Enjoy live music in Minot during Downtown Thursdays!
Head to downtown Minot to see a different performer every Thursday, with excellent vendors up and down the street. It's a great time for the entire family.
6. Take a hike in Minot.
Have you downloaded the Minot Parks app? You can find all the local trails here and enjoy the summer weather before it says goodbye in a few months.
7. Go on a geocache hunt in Minot and the surrounding areas.
Have you seen the article one of our other MacKID publishers wrote about Geocaching? My husband and I used to Geocache before we had kids when we lived in Florida and we just started back up with our boys. We all enjoy it so much!

8. Take a bike ride through Minot with SCHEELS.
Join SCHEELS on the last Thursday of every month for Pedals & Pie! You'll take a 45-minute ride through Oak Park and then get a FREE slice of pizza at Macro's after the ride. Talk about a win-win!
9. Get some lake time at our local State Parks!
Did you know that you can check out a Park Pass from the Minot Library? Then grab all the gear you need for a day at the lake!
